Detelinara
In 2022, I had to leave my home country and found shelter in Serbia. I hoped it would be a temporary refuge — but instead, I found a small home and a way to live without clinging to the past or fearing the future. All of this was given to me by the Balkan's Clover Field — Detelinara, a district in Novi Sad. It was the first densely built neighborhood after the bombings, created to give people homes. It’s not loved by snobs, but everyone here feels welcome — because it belongs to ordinary people. I fell in love with Detelinara the moment I saw it, and for the past three years, I’ve been one of those people. And I’m grateful for that.
